This seems like a portrait of utter defeat. I can feel the cold despair in the blurry lines, the huddle form, the camera almost seems to despise, and yet it pities this scene. Dark and grey, like the shell of a ghost given up and left to die. I find the large black area of black in the image very interesting, it seems to want to swallow up the entire scene. Almost like the blackest of thoughts taking physical shape and beginning to drown out the world. Quite a powerful image.
